Spray Engineering Devices Limited (SED) – Energy-Efficient Solutions for the Process Industry
Founded in 1992 in India, Spray Engineering Devices Limited (SED) is a leading engineering company that delivers customized, energy-efficient solutions to industries such as sugar, bioenergy, water treatment, and food processing. The company specializes in advanced processes including evaporation, condensation, crystallization, and heat exchange.
With operations in over 40 countries, SED has implemented its technologies in more than 600 sugar mills and over 100 water recycling facilities worldwide – all with a strong focus on improving energy efficiency and sustainability.
The current machine is the second in a series of four new Swebend machines that SED has ordered as part of its modernization and efficiency initiative. This specific machine will be used in the sugar extraction process from sugarcane – a step where precision and reliability are critical.
SED currently operates eight Roundo machines in total. Of these, four have been fully refurbished and upgraded by us at SweBend, including the installation of modern CNC control systems. By combining our technical expertise with in-depth knowledge of Roundo machine capabilities, we’ve helped SED optimize their production and future-proof their equipment fleet.
