SweBend delivers JM-140 joggling machine to Spray Engineering
SweBend has delivered the JM-140, a heavy-duty joggling machine for pressure vessel cylinders, to Spray Engineering – a sustainability-driven manufacturer of advanced process equipment.
Using profiled rolls and 35 tons of forming force, the JM-140 rolls stiffening grooves into heavy-wall cylinders – strengthening the shell, improving roundness, and letting the wall absorb pressure and thermal changes – and joggles stepped flanges that join sections into longer vessels. It handles mild steel up to 15 mm thick on cylinders from 1,000 to 5,000 mm in diameter.
