Upgrading a Roundo PAS 340/17 with SweBend SEVEN.

Another control system upgrade to the new, easy-to-use SEVEN CNC. D omatex Inc. located in Houston, Texas, with a powerful Roundo PAS 340/17 plate bending machine, took the opportunity to upgrade their out of date control system to a SEVEN CNC. A smarter, more efficient and also economical solution compared to the investment of a new machine. Our typical three day installation modernized the machine, introducing a smart and efficient production with the SEVEN CNC. SEVEN is a graphical, user friendly CNC system with sophisticated controls. Its flexibility allows any machine to be converted to the system, providing your company with an up to date machine in only three days from start to finish, including commissioning and training. Note: Domatex sought to speed up their production. We therefore also included a switch from linear encoders to absolute encoders, enabling the machine to know the exact position of all axes all the time. This save time by eliminating the need of a reference run on every start-up of the machine.
